MULTI-DAY UHAUL RAFT RENTALS
- We love to raft as many rivers as we can, and we want you to do the same!
- We can rent you rafts and gear to outfit many other Northwest rivers. The John Day, Grande Ronde, Owyhee and Snake Rivers are on our back porch and waiting for you.

Take your adventure beyond the Deschutes with our multi-day U-haul raft rentals, perfect for exploring Northwest gems like the John Day, Grande Ronde, Owyhee, and Snake Rivers. We provide high-quality rafts and all the necessary rigging gear for you to transport and launch on your own.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own trailer to transport the raft?
Yes. We do not rent out our trailers. You would need to bring your own or rent a Uhaul trailer. For single raft orders, we can give you the raft deflated and rolled up so it fits in your car or truck. We’ll provide an electric pump. Keep in mind you’ll need space in your vehicle for the rowing frame, cooler, oars and drybags as well.
Where and when can I pick up the raft?
There is no extra fee if you want to pick up your raft the night before your reservation begins. Rentals are available anytime after 5 pm and before 7 pm. Uhaul raft rentals must be picked up at our shop in Maupin.
What happens if I damage a raft or gear?
We do charge for gear loss or damage. We require a credit card on file while our gear is in your possession. Lost items are replaced at cost. We’re happy to give instruction about properly handling, loading, rigging and operating gear. Raft repair costs are charged at $35 per hour.
Should I rent a raft setup if I've never gone rafting before?
We assume that rental customers have the experience and knowledge to safely and properly use the equipment rented. If you are unsure of the river or river segment that would be appropriate for your group or not confident in your skills or use of the equipment, you should consider one of our fully-outfitted and professionally guided whitewater rafting trips.

We are located 5 minutes away from the best whitewater in Oregon on the Deschutes River in Maupin, OR!
Get to Maupin From Portland:
- Merge onto I-84 E toward The Dalles.
- Take the US-197 exit, EXIT 87, toward Dufur/Bend.
- Turn right onto US-197 South.
- After 1/4 mile at stop sign follow Us-197 South to the left.
- Head 38 miles to Maupin on Us-197 south.
- Once you arrive in to town (you will see sidewalks), we are the first business on your left.
Get to Maupin From Bend:
- Merge onto US-97 N toward Redmond.
- After 42 miles, turn right onto US-97 N.
- After 25 miles, stay straight to go onto US-197 N. to Maupin. Continue to follow US-197 N.
- After 22 miles, you will cross the Deschutes River. Come up the hill, at the far end of town (you will see sidewalks) we will be on your right.
