- A Deschutes River overnight raft trip is perfect for families and friend groups. Our expert guides can adjust the adventure level to your liking and give you life-long memories of rafting and camping in Central Oregon. We are happy to help customize the perfect trip for your group!
- Your guides will feed you delicious meals and take you to their favorite swimming spots. Throughout the course of the trip, there are many opportunities to hike, swim, fish and explore the high desert terrain, but most importantly, escape cell service!
- All trips are custom dates and length, anywhere from 2 to 5 days long. Our guided overnight rafting trips launch from Trout Creek and float 40 miles into Maupin, stopping at designated campsites along the way. Your professional river guides will navigate your raft through class III rapids like Whitehorse, Buckskin Mary, Wapinitia and Boxcar.
- All overnight guided trips require a 6 person minimum. If your dates are flexible we can run small groups together. If you do not meet the trip minimum, please call our office with a range of your available dates. Reserve early, weekend overnight trips usually book out by spring.

What experience level is required for an overnight trip on the Deschutes River?
Most overnight trips on the Deschutes are beginner-friendly. No prior rafting experience is needed. Your guides will handle navigation and give you safety instructions before you hit the water.
What are the meals like?
We pride ourselves on our delicious menu! Meals are hearty and freshly prepared by guides. Think grilled steak and salmon dinners, riverside blueberry pancake and bacon breakfasts, and picnic-style lunches. We offer a lot of vegetarian options as well. Dietary restrictions can usually be accommodated.

Directions
We are located 5 minutes away from the best whitewater in Oregon on the Deschutes River in Maupin, OR!
Get to Maupin From Portland:
- Merge onto I-84 E toward The Dalles.
- Take the US-197 exit, EXIT 87, toward Dufur/Bend.
- Turn right onto US-197 South.
- After 1/4 mile at stop sign follow Us-197 South to the left.
- Head 38 miles to Maupin on Us-197 south.
- Once you arrive in to town (you will see sidewalks), we are the first business on your left.
Get to Maupin From Bend:
- Merge onto US-97 N toward Redmond.
- After 42 miles, turn right onto US-97 N.
- After 25 miles, stay straight to go onto US-197 N. to Maupin. Continue to follow US-197 N.
- After 22 miles, you will cross the Deschutes River. Come up the hill, at the far end of town (you will see sidewalks) we will be on your right.
